American Wagyu Beef is the best and healthiest beef in the world. Beef raised on Rocking BAR Ranch are hand-fed, chemical-free, and pure. This is a small ranch with high values and our animals are our highest priority. To the right are the 2 newest purebred Wagyu heifer and bull calf born on the ranch in April 2011.
Bull Calf is SOLD. Heifer is still available.
Wagyu are reknowned for easy calving, healthy calves, and great temperaments!
Above crossbreed Angus/Santa Gertrudis and Purebred Wagyu bull calf born 5/31/2011, with his mom, Trishia. He is 50% Wagyu from our bull, Waylon.
American Wagyu (Kobe) Beef cattle are meticulously raised here and hand-fed at Rocking BAR Ranch. Meat can be purchased by individual cuts or by 1/4, or 1/2 beef. Entire steer also available upon early request.
Japanese Wagyu Cattle
The best Wagyu beef is raised in a quiet, clean and peaceful environment. They are fed grain, hay and alfalfa, without adding hormones or artificial substances. The Rocking BAR Ranch provides exactly this type of home. The pastures are dragged and cleaned regularly, as are the pens, minimizing the risk of illness or infection. Russ was extremely conscientious and careful of keeping his fence lines secure and taut, without hazards that animals sometimes encounter in a less pristine environment.

Processing of Cattle
Jerry MillerJerry Miller does the slaughtering, cleaning and processing of our cattle on site and personally delivers to Hammon's Meat Sales for Claude to process, or others if requested. His reputation is excellent and he is thorough and has been in business for 27 years. He is an avid hunter and raises his own animals as well. He highly recommends Hammon's Meat Sales and we are assured of getting an honest process through the owner. Jerry is from Bakersfield, CA and is well known throughout Kern County for his business operations, friendliness and excellent service. His services are used and trusted by several ranches in Kern County. He is licensed and bonded.
